Kathryn Hudson,  —

Kathryn Hudson is a former award-winning newspaper editor and reporter who has worked for The Washington Post, The Maryland Gazette, and The Avenue News, with freelance stories appearing in many publications and newsletters. Hudson graduated from The Broadcasting Institute of Maryland where she studied broadcast news and was also the president of the student body. She is working on a new podcast and writing a memoir. Hudson enjoys making films and hopes to produce and direct a short documentary. She is the mother of a totally awesome teenage daughter, and they share two cats. She was diagnosed with MASH in 2008 and cirrhosis in 2017.
